Julia Hubo joined Motive Partners in 2023 and is an Associate on the Venture Investment team.

At Motive, Julia focuses on Motive Ventures and identifies investment opportunities to enhance Motive’s insights and grow Motive’s ecosystem.

Prior to joining Motive, Julia was a Founding Member of Embedded/Capital, a Berlin based early-stage financial technology investment firm, which was acquired by Motive Partners in February 2023, to form the early-stage arm of the Motive Partners platform. Julia previously worked on the investment team of Berlin-based early-stage venture capital fund, Visionaries Club, focusing on B2B SaaS.

Julia started her career in investment banking at Stephens, where she worked in the Financial Institutions Group focusing primarily on financial technology and wealth management.

Julia holds a BA (Honors) in Law from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in International Management from King’s College London.
